Hijab is the other name of modesty.Well yes,though some scholars say niqab is perfectly Islamic.Hijab should not only cover your head but also your mind from evil thoughts and also reminds me to dress simply.Do I??:D
the answer is NO.I remember once attending a lecture on Women in Islam by a well known scholar;He pointed out this :
“My dear sisters in Islam everytime you buy a matching hijab with your dress ,remember:You have to be a symbol of modesty.dont indulge into it.Just like you are worried how my hijab is tied and how it ‘s looking ;beautify your heart;wash away the evil thoughts from it and do the make-up with Allah’s rememberance;then you will be the real beautiful woman;””
Yes,I will try to do it..but then..I …I have to get new hijab for my new dress.Doesn’t matter?Yes,it does ..the more simpler the better.tough to follow ..if being modest is the criteria so why not??
